California's official outdoor play, Ramona, returns for its 103rd season at the Ramona Bowl. This timeless, romantic tragedy, based on Helen Hunt Jackson's 1884 novel, comes to life on April 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th, and May 2nd and 3rd, 2026.
Experience the rich history and culture of Southern California in the 1850s, as hundreds of volunteer performers, including actors, dancers, and skilled horseback riders, bring this grand-scale pageant to life. The story of Ramona, a young woman of Native American and Scottish descent, and her love for Alessandro, a proud Native American man, is a powerful and unforgettable spectacle.
Join us for this iconic piece of California history and be a part of the 103rd season of Ramona.
